• Psalm 18:35 NKJV
• Isaiah 40:10-12 – Gentleness is power under the perfect control of love.
Grow Strong
• Luke 6:35 “Kind” – easy. The word denotes that which is useful, pleasant, good, comfortable, suitable and serviceable.• Titus 3:1-3 & 1 Timothy 6:11 - A disposition that is even-tempered, tranquil, balanced in spirit, unpretentious and that has the passions under control. The person who posses this quality pardons injuries, corrects faults and rules his own spirit well.
Branch Out
• Gentle as a mother with children (I Thessalonians 2:7 NKJV). We have to remember that the beginners in the Christian life are described by the Spirit as “newborn babes” (I Peter 2:2). Older believers sometimes seem to forget this. They set unreasonable standards for young converts. This should not alter the ultimate standard of holiness, but there is room for much gentleness and kindness while new believers grow in grace.• Gentle as a nurse with the sick (2 Timothy 2:24, 25). Spiritual and physical sicknesses are very similar. Loss of appetite, irritability, super-sensitiveness, quickness to take offense, nothing pleases, a dislike for work, a moping desire to keep away from the rest of the family. There is a temptation to get angry with people in such a condition. A good shaking and some rough words are the usual response. But gentleness pays off much better.
• Gentle as a craftsman with his work. The permanent form of the potters work is achieved by the slightest touch of pressure on the clay. God is looking for expert craftsmen with a gentle way of winning and shaping the souls of others. The very wisdom of God always comes through gentleness (James 3:17).
• Galatians 6:1, 2 – Gentleness is required for restoration in the lives of others.
• When you encounter difficulties and contradictions, do not try to break them, but bend them with gentleness and time. -Saint Francis de Sales
• Gentleness corrects whatever is offensive in our manner. -Hugh Blair
This statement came out while I was teaching this morning so I had to add it... "When you pursue gentleness... God's power will pursue you."

Hi Mr. Turner! School is finally out for me... summer has now begun! How is everyone? Are little Kate and Caroline ready for summer?
