• Persecution

If you are a Christian that is serious about living the life Jesus paid for you will become generous. That generosity will lead to blessing. Blessing always brings persecution.

Three types of Persecution

1. Persecution of the poor and defenseless. Psalm 82:3-4
2. Persecution of the foolish or stupid.
3. Persecution of the blessed. Matthew 5:10-11

Amplified Bible – “Blessed” – Happy, Fortunate, Prosperous, to be envied.
Romans 5:2 – Blessed people have access. Matthew 5

Blessing makes you more effective. The Branch is becoming more and more effective everyday and you need to be ready for persecution. Where does it come from?

1. Persecution comes from people when their kingdom is threatened.
2. Persecution comes from people when their message is threatened.
3. Persecution comes from the crowd. Leadership is a threat to the consensus.
4. Persecution comes from family.
