True Worship

We often think in terms of who we are and what we have "in Christ." For instance, Jesus is our Peace, Jesus is our Righteousness and Jesus is our Healer. But Jesus is not our humility! That is something we have to choose. It's an attitude that we put on like a piece of clothing. Of course, Jesus is our example of humility and the One we should pattern our choices after. This week we have a special guest speaker @BranchChurch. Our very own Stephen Eichholtz! Stephen is the Discipleship Pastor and heads up all missions and outreach. He's also my Brother-in-law. He personifies humility. Humility is not thinking less of yourself... it's thinking of yourself less. True worship involves true humility and allows us to walk in the authority of Jesus. True humility is recognizing how important you are to God.
