"My temptations have been my masters in divinity." Martin Luther
Temptation is an equal opportunity employer. You have a choice to fold or do the right thing. Choose to see every temptation as an opportunity to do good. Every time you choose to do the right thing instead of sin, you are growing in the character of Christ. Integrity is built by defeating the temptation to be dishonest; humility grows when we refuse to be prideful; and endurance develops every time you are tempted to give up. Every time you defeat a temptation, you become more like Jesus. Listen online @BranchChurch or download the podcast on iTunes.

I totally agree and sometimes it is easy to be tempted. Because I have the spirit of God, I can use the Bible to say no to Satan. When you fall into temptation, you are only deceiveing yourself. I want to become more like Jesus and like you said, if I deaf temptation, I become more like Jesus. This goes along to what has being happening this week and it just shows that God is on the throne and working wonders in our lifes. =)
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you and I know I can say NO to Satan with the Scriptures. If I do that, I know that God will help me in defeating the devil. Once the devil hears the Scriptures, he runs away because he is darkness and the Scriptures brings light where he cannot stay. This goes along to what I went through this week which says that God is always looking out for us all. God is always watching over and performing miracles.
